My 2009 Malibu LT2 and bluetooth, the car doesn't recognize bluetooth. I went to the dealership and he said it was not equiped for bluetooth and is not available for 09 Malibu. At first bluetooth was recognized by the car, but then I lost connection so I don't know if it's being paired with On Star to which I don't subscribe. It said "Bluetooth ready" but that was it.

Try doing this:
Ask your dealer for the latest TMB concerning bluetooth and the connection problems with a mobile phone. There is a software update for that, and you'll have to take it to the dealership - the bulletin number is #08-08-46-008 After the upgrade, it should work flawlessly! :)
