Driver side window , electric. Window works but moves down at an angle.So needs help to close without popping outside car. Think runner is loose, this also affects my central locking on drivers door occaisionally

remove the door trim and adjust the window channel inside the door
if the felt lining moves with the window it probably need replacing
adjust the channel with the window down or it will jam as the window comes down

My driver side window goes down fine but get stuck going up. is the motor bad or the lift regulator?

Its usually the window motor itself, quite often the window tracks and channels are dry and cause the motor to work harder and eventually tire out. If it attempts to go up then quits it usually pops the circuit breaker inside the window motor because its overworking and draws to many amps (pops breaker). It will attempt to work after a few seconds when circuit breaker cools and closes again. Apply some silicone based lube to the window tracks and channels, and try the window again. If it works you will eventually need a motor. The regulator usually displays binding condition in one specific spot when window going up or down, if its always the same spot it quits then it could be binding in the regulator.

They are ELECTRIC....... things happen like this......When the contacts don't touch they won't move. Try taking the switch from the door the window is down and wiggle it or clean the contacts...good luck. Replace the switch..'gona give you trouble down the road again !!!!!!

1999 toyota vienta drivers side rear electric window not working

You need to replace the window regulator assembly.
The cables that run the glass up and down have broken inside the regulator.

Driver Side Front Window Replacement

You just drop it down from the top at a slight angle. Then put the bolts back in and check to make sure that it moves freely.

Hi i have an audi a4 and the drivers window fails to open and close properly and there is a strange clicking when doing so. It sounds like there is a stone inside the window but i think it may be a mechanical fault with the electic window ........help
