Signal lights don't work in 1996 chevrolet corsica. Then someone told me my brake lights don't work so I decided to turn on my lights. I then discovered my back lights don't work either. i have had fuses replaced and they last a couple of days and then don't work again. Do you know what the problem could be without me having to pay a lot of money just to get someone to find out what the problem is? Thanks for your help.

Turn signal tail lights and BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING

It can be faulty brake light switch causing the problem or its blown brake light bulb. First check and confirm brake light lamp is working and that's not the case.

a bad turn signal switch the brake lights go threw the turn signal switch

replace your flasher, it controls both turn signal, flashers also brake circuit runs througth.

Your vehicle has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, mounted on the drivers (Left) side of the steering column. The hazard flasher is mounted on top of the steering column. Do not get them mixed up.

no, sorry . but i do have a suggestion that might help. do the taillights work? if so check the brake light switch on the brake pedal. also , does the high mount light work and not the rear ones? if so you may want to check the turn signal switch to make sure there is voltage on that circuit.

DID YOU REPLACE THE BULBS

does the hazard signals work? if they do, then replace all turn signal bulbs.

along with warning that the e-brake is engaged, it's also a waning light that something is wrong with the brake system. however, it may be a defective switch on the e-brake handle. i would have a break check done. also chech the fluid level.

I was having similar issues with my '95 Lumina. It started out with the passenger side brake light not working and the turn signal switch on the column acting funny.
Eventually, someone pulled-up next to me and told me that I had no rear lights at all.
It turned out to be the turn signal switch in the sterring column.
