Problem; Where is the fuel pump relay on a 1995 Chevy S10 pickup? Yes, I know where it is supposed to be--under the hood on the left side in a fuse box. But I am here to tell you it is not. Is it under the dash? Please help me out here. Thanks.

You may have a late 95 early 96 which moved the fuelpump relay under the dash inside glovebox.

Wow. My husband just replaced the heater core, wiper fluid pump, radiator and hoses. Afterwards, it was idling rough and had no power during acceleration. We have been working on it and checked everything. We replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor; checked for any type of vaccuum leaks, loose wires, etc. Anything that we could think of, and we were starting to think that maybe it just happened to be coincedence that the fuel pump is going out right at the same as all of these repairs. That is like a $400 fix, so I started reading some question and answer forums. I bet that's the problem. We could not think of anything inside the dash that would affect engine performance, and it does feel like a fuel problem. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Elisa

I have a 2004 Chevy S10 4x4 Crew Cab and need to know where fuel pump fuse and relay are located. Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks !

The fuel pump relay is in the engine compartment fuse/relay box . The relay on the control side is given B+ from the PCM - engine computer . The load side (fuel pump ) gets B+ voltage from the ECM B fuse 20 amp - location ,under hood fuse box.

NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY SWITCH IS FOR A 1998 CHEVY S10 TRUCK...

For the 1998 s10 theres no fuelpump switch, there is a fuelpump relay. the relay is in the engine compartment inside the fuse/relay box. the relay will be labeled on the inside cover of the fuse/relay box cover. besides the relay the only other problem for a fuelpump not working on these trucks is the fuelpump is bad or the wiring connector to the pump is bad.

2001 chevy s10 ,4.3 liter I am told that there is a fuel pump relay mounted under the vehicle on the frame. does anyone know the exact location?

Hello poppylambert: My name is Roger and I will help you. The fuel pump relay is located under the hood. Locate the fuse box on the left fender. Remove the cover and turn it over. You will find a listing and location of all fuses and relays on the inside of the cover. The relay is not under the vehicle. The fuel pump how ever is located inside of the fuel tank. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

How do you reset a fuel pump in a 1998 chevy s10 truck 2.2 liter engine, 2 wheel drive? The truck hit a curb going pretty fast and now when you turn the key on the fuel pump does not come on. Is there an...

No, no reset for an S10. There would be a fuel pump relay under the hood in the fuse/relay block. And also a 10 or 15 amp fuse for the pump at this junction block as well.
Check the fuse, then find the tank electrical connector, pull it apart and find the gray wire -the fuel pump wire. Clip a test light lead to ground then put the tester probe into the gray wire terminal on the harness side of connector. Now have a helper turn the key to start and crank the engine over. The test light should light up if your electrical circuit is working. Before you drop the tank to investigate the fuel pump (it probably needs replacing), check if the ground for the pump is alright. Maybe when you hit the curb, you jarred loose the ground connection.

Where is the fuel pump fuse on a 1989 chevy s10 pickup?

Fuses for the engine or exterior items are under the hood in a little black plastic box.

Fuses for the interior items are under the dash, up above the driver's left foot.

In either case, the fuse diagrams should be on the inside of the fuse cover.
