On Amazon $297, It is common for this part to rust out. Got mine installed by a local garage for additional $300. Worth fixing, otherwise good car.

The part you are looking for in covered by a Suzuki recall. It was was defective from the start. Take your car to a Suzuki dealership and they should replace the part for you @ no cost to you.

Where can I locate a at friends for a 99 Suzuki Esteem

you want to buy an ESteem, why?
Suzuki is dead. (USA and Canada )
i why buy a near Yugo status car?
this rare car , most the parts on car are not sold by the aftermarked (underdog)
and suzuki shut down here, no new car sales.
and there parts supply is collapsing at a fast rate, due to no car dealers and just 2 online sales points. (weak, and no parts drawings...there, poor support !!!)
they also list most parts now as discontinued.
so why own this car.?

why not (if underdog cars are cool?)
buy a GEO Prizm , at least all the parts are Toyota Corolla and sold 100% all parts.

Esteems are no good. due to above facts.
unless its just a toy and down time is of no matter... "truth"

Can I buy a radiator online for 2002 suzuki esteem wagon and replace it myself?

You bet! its not that hard to replace. You might want to price one locally - you might be pleasantly surprised at the prices compared to one bought on-line and shipped to you.

Just take your time, maybe take a few digital snapshots of everything before you remove it - so you have a reference if you get lost.

I recommend flushing the system out, buying a GOOD quality radiator cap (maybe even an OE one from the dealer) - and changing out your thermostat too. A healthy cooling system is a healthy car.

Broken subframeon my esteem. Is there a recall or any compensation. The car was in good shape and now it seems to be worthless. This doesn't seem reasonable.

hello everybody,
I had the same problem on a 2000 suzuki esteem and I checked with the dealer. it looks like there are a lot of problems with the subframe, so suzuki extended the warranty to 12 years or 288 k. I know is a late answer, but might help somebody.

Transmision level fluid Baleno esteem 2002 susuki

The proper fluid level is marked on the dip stick. With the engine running and in park, raise the hood and remove the dip stick from the autotrans filler tube. With a clean rag, wipe down the stick and then place the dip stick all the way back in the tube again, and then pull it out once more.
Holding the stick level, you can now read what the fluid level is.

If you add any fluid, do so in small amounts, such as a half a pint at a time.

Do not add fluid with engine running.
