Suszuki 2000 jimny jumps when slowing down and when speed up sudenly

get it serviced?
2 problems ,
first slow down, in older cars. Huh? tempting fate?
get the wheel bearings check first.
car must be 100% road worthy to go fast. (to learn ask)

id not drive it. not me.
not until many checks for safety done.
do you need list.?
go to any brake , tire or suspension shop and ask them to diagnose this. what if a wheel bearings is seizing slowing car.
is the steering pulling, if yes, stop driving it. and for sure 80!

or better any ASE Auto repair shop (pros) they will check it all.
and then you will be safe, and us behind you too.

My wild guess is:
the 3L30 transmission there, used from 1989 to about 1999?
check levels yet> ATF levels>
not shifting means zero.
is it stuck in 1st gear, when in Drive or L?
does reverse work
does it slip or flare.
does the 1st gear stall test pass, a 5 second test? seen in the FSM.
is filter clean. and pink ATF fluid or black full of metal flakes.

I guessed 3 speed, but really have no idea what you are driving.
year, or actual tranny.

Does the engine rev up when you press on the gas or bog down?
Do you smell a funny smell when the truck is running?

check for a vacuum leak
check idle adjustment
check for idle circuit solenoid is operational

Did you setup the speed meter to 10 km/h ?

-Speed sensor is bad. Check and replace it.

my 91 weights only 2000lbs wet.

these are called options, you need to LOOK.

check idle speed sensor as the motor is still under load while slowing down. Try placing tranny in neutral before slowing down and see if that improves the situation. Check the idle speed while stationary and in gear. It should drop 100-200 rpm under neutral idle but any more and I would be looking at idle speed sensor .
