You need to see the dealer for this problem.

Look in the owner's manual and see if indeed there is a "Mute" setting you may have touched while fiddling with the controls..

most of the time the disc is bad but when the disc goes bad its the navi unit that causes that to go bad so if you replace just disc will need another one soon after recommend replacing unit or ship to repair facilty for repairs

I do have a 04 TSX, but never came across the issue you report. However, I had an old car once that had a similar issue which I traced to a bad sparkplug which was replaced to fix the issue. Also, you could first try and check your batteries and maybe put a new one to see, if that resolves it. Hope it helps.
