batteries have just the 2 posts
1 is positive and 1 is negative
connect one lead onto the positive post of the jumper car to the flat battery positive post
then connect the other lead to the negative post of the jumper battery of the jumper car then connect that lead end to the engine ( any bolt will do) do not connect to the flat battery negative post
Well the ground wire will be more then likely grounded in the trunk somewhere by the battery. The positive batter cable should be connected to your starter. Hope this helps.
Have engine wiring harness checked as 1993-1995 MB's were forced by US to use biodegradanle insulation on its wires. If thats not it replace coils and do a tunes up.
93-95 Mb was forced to use biodegradable insulation on its wiring in there cars by the US. Try looking at the engine wiring harness because they can short out. Also the Throttle assembly has the same wiring, it would cause all those problems.
if it is always you must check the wiring maybe you have a faulty wiring or grounded wiring coz for me as a mechanic it is not common for benz to have a problem like that. also check the power output if it is constant.maybe it is giving a high power output..
