I have a audi a4 2.4 2000 avant. a orange light came on . triangle with circle around it and this ! in the middle of it. please help

Yellow circle, with triangle and exclamation mark – The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) dashboard light flashes if the ESP or traction control is activated whilst driving. If ESP or traction control has been switched off, it will light up continuously. If ESP or traction control is not turned off and the warning light illuminates continuously, it indicates a problem and malfunction with either ESP or traction control.

A circle light is displayed on the dash of my audi A6 3F year 2000

Hello! The circle means your brake pads need to be changed.

Here is a link for a "Quick Reference Guide" which clarifies your dash warning lights.

Google "All Audi A6 warning lights with an explanation"

Click on the forth selection ( you can make sure it's the correct choice by reading the address before you click). It is
www.vaglinks.com

Then download the guide. Page 2 shows the dash and identifies each light.

Hi I have an Audi A6 2.4lt Auto year 2000 my question is on the dash instruments there is a yellow triangle IE warning me something is wrong. My gear selector jamsgets stuck will not move, I had water in...

Have someone check and see if the brake lights come on when you press the brake pedal..The warning lamp may indicate a fuse out to the brake light circuit--if the fuse is blown/faulty then the gearshift won't move, it needs to "see" the brake circuit is on before allowing the shifter to engage.
