If you hear that clicking noise whether going forward or backward,,it's most likely a bad cv joint on your axle going bad,,or bad. you'll need to replace the axle it's coming from. just have someone listen to the noise while you're going forward or backwards while turning the wheel in motion to determine which axle is bad! hope this helps!!

When braking in reverse I get a loud hooting noise coming from the back right hand wheel area. I have had the brakes checked and cleaned. My car is a fiat 500 twinair 2016 with 14000 miles on the cloc

if u hear that noise ONCE and then u have to go forward and backwards again so to hear it again is the noise of the braking pad that changes position since its a bit loose like all cars .

Normal.

Right rear tire making clicking noise when going forward

is the tire flat? Have you physically taken the wheel off the right rear and inspected the tire for screws, metal pieces, rocks or other things stuck in the tire? Go do that right now..and see if something is there.

When backing up 1994 Golf its makes a knocking noise on the drivers side

  • Are you backing strait up when this noise happens? Or are you turning the wheel also? Also is a definite knock of perhaps a more click click click click.? Does this even happen when going forward? When the car is in drive and you put your foot on the brake and go into reverse, do you hear a profound clunk? Please answer the questions posed to help me help you a little better.

Power seat on driver side only goes forward and back . Tilt and up and down feature has stopped working already checked fuses and rattled the switch around encase it was jammed. No luck....any ideas

The power switch for your seat is a six way switch . It only has one power lead going into it . So , if forward and backward work then you have power to the switch . Would you need to do is try the up and down control while listening closely . If you hear a clicking noise but nothing else when you energize the switch you probably have a bad vertical control motor . If you hear a motor running right after the clicking noise and you probably have a bad control cable which goes between the motor and the vertical gear . If you don't hear anything at all when you activate the switch up and down , I would suspect a bad switch .
