I have a 2006 Acura TSX and somehow the other day the alarm started going off and no matter what buttons I tried to push on the remote it didn't go off. I had to manually put the key in the door to get it to stop. The manual didn't seem clear about what to push on the remote to turn off the alarm. Is there a way to do it without having to put the key in the door? Thank you.

do you have navigation? mine has navigation and im not sure if this is the reason why they did this but, when i got my battery replaced, like 2 months ago, they had to connect the battery line to something else other than the battery before taking the battery out or else it resets everything on the car and you have to take it to a dealership for a 300 dollar job... where did u get the battery replaced?
i would just take it to a dealer, and find the problem first...
and then if it is something thats pretty simple, just look online for the part or getting it fixed...

Hi,welcome to fix ya. remove the clamp on the brake flex line attached to the swing arm and the caliper will pull right off. be sure to turn and push to retract the caliper .And to line the tab on the pad with the slot on the piston.

There is a fault code present and you will have to take it to a dealership for them to use a Tech II and read the code.
