Replacing Headlight lamps

you are just replacing bulbs not the whole lamp i presume. The bulbs are held in by a ring that turns about a quarter turn counter clockwise to release. Then the bulb will pull out of the lamp housing. Some cars do not give room to do this and you will have to remove objects in the way or take headlamp out of car to achieve

How do i change right turn lamp in my 2004 pontiac grand prix

Answer remove the headlight assembly and the bulbs are located below the Assembly to remove headlamp assembly and access signals: -open the hood
-while pushing rearward on the headlamp, pull up half-way on the (white)plastic retaining clip on the electrical connector - align the square cut-out on the retaining clip with the notch on the headlamp
-pull the headlamp assembly straight out from the vehicle (moving the headlamp up and down slightly may help with its removal)
-locate the front turn signal, parking lamp and foglamp bulbs which are located below the headlamp assembly (turn/parking lamp on top and the fog lamp is below it)
-turn the bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove it from assembly
-pull the old bulb from the socket and replace it with a new one
-turn the bulb socket a 1/4 turn clockwise to reinstall it
-reinstall the headlamp assembly carefully so you dont scratch the paint
-push down on (white)plastic retaining clip on the electrical connector while pushing rearward on the headlamp making sure headlamp is secure.

How do you replace a headlight on a 1999 Toyota Rav 4?

Do you mean the entire headlight assembly or just the bulb?
If it's the entire headlamp look at the new one to see where the fastening points are, the grill may have to be removed and also the parking lamp lens, if it's just the bulb it's easy Open your hood look at the backof the headlight assembly and twist the bulb holder ring to release it. Good Luck To You

Beam lights out on 2000 toyota solara

check for voltage at the lamps themselves. If no voltage is present, check headlamp relay,.Rarely it could also be the multi-function switch, but don't go there first! Also, did you try a new bulb?(s)

One headlight bright, the other dim

For some reason, Toyota chooses to wire their headlamps differently than domestic cars, with dual fuses for the headlamps, and a common ground for each headlamp...The reason that the lamp was dim is the bulb was getting power thru a "backfeed" condition, due to the poor ground. The fuse may have blown due to the poor ground, also.

How to replace Marker lamp in 1999 Toyota Corolla

Open the hood. Observe the area above the right headlamp, close to the fender. You will see a phillips screw that holds a plastic tab. Remove the phillips screw. After removing the screw, pull the marker lamp assembly towards you. It may be real tight, if it has never been removed before. You need to pull the light assembly out of 2 retention sockets behind the marker lamp. Rotate the bulb socket to get to the bulb, replace the bulb, & slide it back in.Easy job.
