My truck is doing the same thing, also the gas gage is no longer correct, it was all due to a wiring harness i believe, covered by warrenty

i have a 2door 08 silveraldo, ive had the fuel sensor, wireharness, steering wheel and radio replaced and all under 20000 miles and my gages had to be replaced due to they would not read my speed.... i would have the whole truck checked if they will do it for you under warrenty

Engine hot turn ac off. heat gauge flatten out 160 fans stay on.

On my 2008 Chevy pickup, the temp gauge would show normal temp and all if a sudden would drop out down to 160 on dash. When this happened, the panel would show ENGINE HOT, AC OFF. I had this problem for months. To reset it, I would have to pull over, take the battery cable off to reset the panel. I finally did some research and found out that the thermostat was the problem! When you replace the thermostat, make sure you get one that is set at 195 degrees cause there are different set points and if it doesn't make temp, the computer automatically takes over to prevent engine damage. I went to Autozone and bought a Failsafe 195 temp thermostat and my truck hasn't had a problem since!

The "engine hot/ac turned off light" came on and

after replacing a thermostat you need to wait till the thermostat opens and re add more coolant till its full. if the lite stays on the sensor is most likely bad

Chevy Silverado: While the truck is running and the AC is on cool the tempature will go to HOT and I have to stop the truck and turn it off, turn it back on again and then the tempature returns to cool. ...

You condensation problem because the fan that cools the condenser will not run or runs poorly if that works and electrical checks if it can be used clucht fan fan problem clucht that the fan does not spin fast enough to adequately remove the heat .. .
