Try the WD-40 spray in intake of throttle body with air intake hose off, to see if it will kick at all, even for a second or 2. We need to confirm whether your losing fuel or spark when it dies. Ignition & fuel, can cause similar symptoms in this case.

I have helped many Honda/Acura owners on this issue. Many mechanics will replace many parts prior to solving this problem, which then creates unnecessary repairs and spending. So here is my diagnosis: Notice if your speedometer drops to zero when your engine dies while driving. If this happens its your ignition switch failing. Ignition switches in Honda/Acura vehicles years 97-02 encounter faulty or shorted internal contacts. This causes premateur electrical failure to vital engine electrical parts, causing vehicle to stall intermittedly. A recall has been in place since 2002, approximately 1.3mil vehicles are affected, call your local honda/acura dealer for info and possible free repair or replace the ignition switch yourself. Hopefully my info helps you!!

It could be the fuel pressure regulator, the regulator is vacuum operated. When the diaphram ruptures gas is allowed to go directly into the intake manifold, through the regulator. So, when you shut the engine off, there is still pressure in the fuel system, with a ruptured diaphram the gas can leak through the vacuum line into the manifold. Thus, flooding the engine. If you pull the vacuum line off the regulator and it's wet with gas that's the problem. The part is about $100 from Napa Auto Parts.
