Dodge Neon At times my Neon stalls when I am driving it and it won't restart, at other times it will restart immediately. I was told it was a bad crankshaft sensor, which I had replaced. The problem continued until the timing belt finally broke. Now it won't run at all. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be if not the crankshaft sensor? Also, will a car start at all if the sensor is bad?
I have a 1998 Dodge Neon and sometimes when i go to start my car it will die or not start at all. We have to hit on the gas tank to get it to start. What could this be?

Bad girl, cursing at your favorite Neon! When did you service your transmission last? If the fluid is old and thick it messes up the F***in pressures in the F***in transmission so it won't F***in shift. Get it checked out (curse the F***in mechanic who charges too F***in too much!)
Check the Transmission Dipstick OIL level to ensure the level is up to the FULL mark. A low oil level will be insufficient to keep the drive engaged as the system gets hot, and will eventually damage the internal gearing, and also the seals. Regards, DT
