Question is, does fuel pump relay come in/ go out when ignition switched on? How do you know "no power source to fuel pump", was that because bypassing the relay didn't cause it to run? Or did you check for supply to the pump and find nothing doing?.
Sounds rather like a frozen pump to me... or a blown fuse??

There is only a few cars fitted with an ancient petrol injection system that needed any priming.
Diesel engines mostly need the injection system priming but petrol injection systems do not.
Lots of cars use a system where the fuel pump runs for a couple of seconds when the ignition is switched on and that is all the time it takes to prime the fuel system. After a couple of seconds the fuel pump switches off and waits to restart when the engine is cranked.
As priming the system takes only a couple of seconds some manufacturers don't bother with the brief priming run of the pump and just have the pump start when cranking.
Could be faulty supply, fuse, pump relay or the pump itself.
If the car is fitted with an immobiliser, perhaps that is the problem.
Some Nissans put that relay and 3 others above or on the fuse panel under the dash. Far left one was the Accessory relay, then the Ignition relay, next was the ECCS relay (the ecu relay), and last on the right was the fuel pump relay, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure everyone was exact same relay, same part number. I also believe the fuel pump fuse was in that fuse panel.
Don't bypass the fuel pump relay . power to the relay comes from the ignition switch on start cycle .when the engine is running the oil pressure switch takes over the circuit .so if you crash and the engine .stops so does the pump . If the fuel line brakes a bypassed pump will keep pumping spraying fuel and you could burn.
Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10) The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.
did you check the fuse for the fuel pump you don`t say.there is also a fuel pump relay in the system.if you bypass the system then the ecm won`t have control for the pump,which controls the 2 second prime at the beginning when key turned on and it won`t shut off the pump in case of an accident when the engine stops.you can bypass it but its not recommended because this.if you do bypass make sure you have a 25amp fuse wired into the power wire and a on/off switch that you must remember to turn on and off every time you drive the car.
Sit on the end of the fuel rail, where the injector's are at, is held on with three small bolt's, that's on fuel injection engine's, if it's a carburetor engine, don't have fuel regulator.
