I am sorry but I regret to say that Fixya.com doesn't have any wiring diagrams available for free downloading due to copyright laws. You can however gain access to the factory service manuals and wiring diagrams and all factory service letters at this site for a modest subscription fee I am told.

firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. looking from front of vehicle driver-side front to rear 1-3-5-7 passenger-side 2-4-6-8. hope this helps Tim

Passenger side from radiator back is evens 2-4-6-8-
FIRING ORDER IS 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2-

on these models on the harness that plugs into the fan switch goes bad, I changed the switch and found this harness melted together on my 99 yukon

First test your coolant with a thermometer when it gets to full hot. Don't get scalded with the hot fluid.
if it is hot enough maybe the water temperature sensor is faulty. If the sensor is good then try putting the thermostat in a pot of water and with a thermometer test when it opens. sometimes even a new one is not accurate.
To test your rear window defroster,check your fuse, if good follow the circuit with a voltmeter. Wireing diagrams are in the Haynes manual.
