The suspension has a leak somewhere and/or the airmatic compressor has stopped working properly. You need either the Mercedes star diagnosis system (SDS) in order to access the suspension control module to tell it to raise the vehilce or you can try to trick it by jacking up the car so it thinks it's sitting at the correct ride height. But as long as the display reads a warning it won''t allow the airmatic compressor to run.

How do I clear the refridgerant low ac off code on my 1999 cadillac deville and a servicce airbag message stays on my screen is that resettable

ok these are 2 separate issues I'll start from the air bags since thats the most complicated one to fix.. This is a common problem ,, basically there is a device called a clock spring in the steering wheel, this device is like a bearing with a coil that turns with the steering yet allows the air bag in the steering to be powered. Now this has brushes and wires and a bearing fitted in such a manner the steering can turn freely without breaking contact. Well eventually the wires break and it needs replacing. This involves removing the steering and replacing the spring. I strongly suggest you get a professional to do this as there is no room for error reasons being
  1. the clock spring needs to be set propperly 1 1/2 turns left and 1 1/2 turns right if not your steering will not function as it should and you wont be able to make turns left or right and over turn on the other end (big problem) as it can lead to accidents.
  2. you can discharge the air bags and that's bad as its expensive to replace, not mention your air bags use gun powder to discharge ,, this can cause critical injuries m burns etc..
  3. if the wiring is wrong , you can blow the ecu as the ecu directly controls the air bags on a 12 volt relay.. Well i guess you get the point.
now for your ac,, once you have the unit refilled ,, the ecu wont recognize it is and basically will keep displaying the error code similar to that of your air bag sensor, what you need to do is get a diagnostic unit ,, this will connect to the ecu and clear all error codes, the system will then reboot and if there is no problems bot warning lights will go off, if the problem isnt resolved then they will reappear. I highly recommend taking it to a local mechanic to get this done,, by all means in you have a tool, you may attempt it your self,, just be careful you dont change any of the other settings.. If you dont ,, dont bother buying a unit since a mechanic will be cheaper..

Air ride leak back bags wont lift dont hear a leak tho please help to bumby for my 2 year oold son

Any errors on dash ? Get a manual ! Resolve any errors. Next check for sound that compressor is running...it should run after a few seconds of 'Key On-Engine Off'' if air bags have low pressure. It is located (underneath air filter... left front).. Check for defecctive air bags and their solenoid valves.
I found used replacements for all of these components on eBay.

Error message

Hold down off and warmer on the temp control to put the car in self diagnostics. See if you can get airbag codes and you should be able to erase them using the fan up and down buttons.

1997 lincoln town car v8 The rear bags are down and doesn't rise. Air compressor goes on, possible bad sensor? please help

If the compressor is running then it is either rear bags are leaking or compressor is to weak.If you have a way to raise car up in the air or at least the rear when you get it up you will probably notice cracks in the bags at the bottom of the bag. A temporary fix is you can take a tube of silicone rubber and rub it over the cracks in the bottom of the bags, let it dry then see if it will raise back up.If it does then you can probably get by with just bags.

Air suspension motor running almost all the time

I would suspect you have a leak in the system most likely at the air bags themself. They are probably starting to dry rot at the bottom of them due to age and mileage. If you have access to a lift and raise the car up into the air so the bottom of the bags are exposed, when on the ground the bag folds at the bottom so it you may not be able to see this otherwise. Inspect the bottom of the bags for cracks in the rubber.
