My 2000 Jeep Cherokee AC controls will adjust the blower from low to high and you can hear the blower ramp up and down but there is little volumne of air coming out of the duct, air is cold but not enough air flow to cool cherokee
Could be a problem like mine. I have my heater box out right now and all I can find is a bad recirculate blend door. From what I gather jeep Grand Cherokee is bad for blend door breakage. good luck
Check your resister pack, if the air is still cold then the freon is being moved by your compressor and passing through your orfice tube fine so there is the right amount. DO NOT open the system unless you have to, each time it is open they sugggest a dryer/reciecver replacement. The resister pack is a small block about the size of a palm of a hand. It contians a set of coils which conduct electricity at different rates based on that rate <the amount of voltage> your a/c fan will blow that speed. For example high= no resistance, low= 3 reiester if you have 4 settings
Please check for any blockage and in the ac duct, IF the duct is clean you need to refill the AC gas and get it serviced as the AC thens to weak over the years ........................
good luck................
