Security system how do i bypass

I have a 89 firebird 305 tbi five speed i lost my keys and replaced my ignition and still will not start how can i bypass the key pass

    well amoust the same problem I have my keys , replaced the stater and a new batter just die one day, the wire under the driver to the steering look like one of the mine wires arent together come frome under the car hood to the steering wheel is this wiire a ground and where does it go? not sure what wrong thing it wireing to the itignition, has power but wont turn over, 1989 pontice firebire? any know what wrong or what to do? sb thanks

If you want a quick way to fix it run a wire from your starter in to the car another from the battery into the car and get a start button its quick easy i had the same problem.

89 firebird anti theft code won't let car start
If code 53 involves the PASS system for your car, the chip in the key has failed, or the sensor in the lock cylinder, or the control module.
The anti-theft system disables the starter and the fuel injectors. You could bypass those circuits to get the car started.

Some of these anti theft security distress can shut offfuel to the injectors. This might be what's happening. Check out this link for info on the security system. There is a way to bypass the entire system. Right now you have bypassed the key and ignition part, but the TDM (theft deterrent module) is still there. 1992 Firebird 305 TBI: Running Great on the interstate and suddenly just shut off and will not start. Only getting 12V at the coil wire, to the distributor, when trying to start. What could be wrong???
i would suspect the ignition module in the distributor if you got no spark and or no fuel injectors

I have lost my keys to my 1991 pontiac firebird my key has the chip in it for the anti thft system is the a way to bypass the security system so I can replace the lock with a standard ingition lock
there is a way I've seen it done but never have done it myself. That "chip" is like a resistor for the anti theft system. When I asked the guy how he bypasses it, he stated, "I find the correct resistance needed, then add a resistor in line so that it bypasses the ignition switch." This way the orginal keys will work even if they don't have the "chip." Now the vechile he did that on he still had the key with the chip. The chip or ignition cylinder wasn't contacting each other so it would sometimes run and sometimes wouldn't. So I don't know if he tested the key or if there is a different way. I know this isn't much help but I KNOW it can be done.

Anti theft system . Had to replace ignition key cylinder with new key that does not have a chip, can i bypass antitheft system .dealership says model firebird did not come with chip in key. need a solution...
The dealer is right...the 89 firebird did not come with a chipped key antitheft system. You should never have had a key with a chip to begin with.
