My Chrysler 300 C is stalling and the engine light came on - Took my car to Autozone for a diagnostic check and the code was P0315. What does that code mean and how can I fix it.

Most likely there is a problem with your crank sensor. I would inspect the crank sensor first. test the resistance on the sensor first. you could just replace the sensor or pay someone to replace it. see if the light stays off

engine lights will come on due to several different reasons, the simplest reason is to remove fuel cap, then put it back on. could be one of several sensors. U can go to autozone parts store for a free diagnostic check
I took it in to a different mechanic and am told that the car will not "learn" the cps. It will clear the CEL but as soon as the key is put in the ignition it comes back on He suggested putting in the original crank sensor but that one is cracked so do I need to get an ac/delco or gm sensor instead of what I got from autozone or how do I get it to recognize the sensor we put in?
We did check the fuses and that is not the problem.
Well the code p0300 is a mis fire code the 315 is I believe a cam timing code which can cause the 300 replace the cam trimming actuator, it should fix ur problem.
Get it scanned for the check engine light, (mil light), as for the oil light, thats normal due to engine not running and making no oil pressure. was this a sudden stall, with no engine surging, then I suppect a failed cam or crank sensor. if it kind of stalled with engine surge and hesatation, I suspect fuel related, possible fuel pump. 2.4L, 2.7L engine have same sensor issues and ideas. if you need more info, just reply back with the mil code, I will walk you through this problem.

The only way, for shure is to go to computer diagnostics. 99% sure that this is some engine sensor, buy only diagnostics will tell who. (130,000 miles, hm lamda. it have only 150,000km live)
