Yes it does usually is inside the black plastic part of the key if you notice a piece of it missing and the transponder his ball doubt you would have to get another one

YEP YOUR KEY TRANSPONDER IS READ THROUGH THE KEYLOCK CYLINDER READ COIL BY IMMOBILIZER CONTROL MODULE BEFORE CAR WILL START.IF CARRIER FREQUENCY SIGNAL IS NOT 100 - 150 KHZ RANGE CAR WONT START.YOUR CAR HAS TRANSPONDER KEY.MOST ALL LATE 96 TO 2011 VECHICLE CAR KEYS HAVE TRANSPONDER KEYS TO STOP CAR THEFTS.
