The AC condensate (water/condensation coming off the cold evaporator core) drain is plugged. The drain hole is located inside the AC blower motor housing and drains out at the base of the engine bulkhead on the passenger side under the vehicle.
Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked
ac drain pipes are on the passenger side front floor area (just about where your feet go) under car when cars heater core gets a hole in it lots of times antifreeze will leak inside car on floor try to get a small sample of fluid thats leaking out with a tissue or something (white In color) see what color fluid is ,see if fluid is slippery like oil or not (rub it between fingers)
Antifreeze= orange or green in color
Transmission oil = red or brown
motor oil = brown to black
washer fluid = Blue or drk orange
ac condesate= clear water (cold)
You have a blockage in the AC drain. It's located on the passenger side firewall below the AC unit. It can be cleaned out using a stiff wire. The water should normally drain on to the ground when the AC is in operation.
The drain is just a small hose coming out of the firewall, right hand side, about 2 -3 inches long, they get clogged up with mud, bugs, you name it, and when the clog up, it's like Niagra falls in there. Check it out.
You can see it by opening the hood and looking towards the back firewall.
Its a short black drain hose and will have a good rust spot under it.
To see it in the car you need to remove you dash. Lower your dash. Remove the screw on
the right side and you can pull your dash out. The drain hose is
located in the upper left side near the center hub and right near the
engine firewall. Its a 6 inch black hose with a few bends and stubs
out through a hole into the engine compartment. You can easily pull it
out. and stick a short screwdriver up into the drain pan to clean it
out.
The condensation drain is plugged in the heater/AC plenum, the drain is under the hood at the very bottom of the firewall on the passenger side.
