Owner driving. Problems: Running Km 180,000 Recently changed Engine Lube Oil & Filter. Lube Oil leaks drop by drop (A drop each second - appr) below the idler pulley location. I checked by my finger - it appears that there is a hole kept for the leaking oil to come out. Where from this oil is coming? What is the remedy?

Mercedes does not use steel filter cartriges like most other manufacturers. They use bolt on oil filter housings with a disposable filter element within. They are the top side of the engine and in recent years have a black plastic cap sometimes with a torque spec on it. On this engine I believe that it is at the front of the engine on the right hand side near the cooling fan cowl.
