Heater relay I have a 1995 toyota pickup and the blower motor is not blowing. all fuses are good which moves me to the relay. where is the relay located and is there a way to troubleshoot it?

its either your heater fuse or your heater core. check your manual and check the fuse first

bad fuse,
it can only be 3 things, a voltmeter finds this easy and every time.
bad fuse, bad switch bad, motor.
as we all know that includes all wires and connections, fore ever.
so you can check the blower , 12vdc on high.
if 12v there, and motor is silent the motor is bad or lost its ground.
to check that 100% apply 12vdc to the motor, bingo it works?
so no 12v to motor, must be bad switch, huh? after all the fuses is already checked(with ohm meter not eyes !)
so now i have 12v to the switch and no 12v out. must be a bad switch
easy huh?
ill now look yours up to see if there are other oddities.

ahh , up to 4 blowers, 2 front and 2 rear. fun but the 2 front are in parallel. and bingo, all 4 have there own FUSES !@!!!

i go to page 3 for HVAC, allh the heater, omg 2 relays 1 fan
the switch does NOT power the fan.
the switch only energizes relay 1, the ground relay
this heater relay pulls in and grounds the FAN.
ok 1/2 done.
next relay is Power side blower relay.
it gets 12vdc power from its very own 40Amp, Circuit breaker
the switch also ground this relay, it too energizes and bam
12vdc hits the fan
id bet the fan is good, and shock, no need to pull dash to get it out...

blower motor fuse

sound's like a earthing problem , try a continuity test from blower LIVE to chassis , if get continuity then def got a wiring problem , very difficult to diagnose without seeing vehicle , get a auto electrician

fuse blows. unplug heater blower motor turn ignition on, turn heater on, does fuse blow? if not need to replace heater blower motor

check the fuse first,then the motor for power,then the blower motor resistor

Have you checked your relays? If a relay is shorting it will cause the fuses to blow.

When a fuse blows, it shows a problem in that circut, generally a voltage spike, sometimes a poor ground that causes excessive resistance in the wiring, or a short. I don't know of any connection between the fuse you changed and heater, but anything is possible...Check your body ground, dash ground, heater relay and blower motor. (Motor is mounted on the engine side of the firewall on the passenger side. relay is either on the firewall or inside the power distribution center (black box near battery).

this is not a problem with thw switch or motor.
