Are you sure the fuel gage is reading accurately most gages just use a resistor to gage how much fuel is in the tank over time its easy for the gage to read off could be running out of gas unless you know for sure it still has a half a tank?

remove fuel line from fuel rail end and put switch to on position let some fuel come out from line, then replace fuel filter, check oil if any water marks in oil if not fix fuel rail line back you are readu to use it normal.

thi sounds like the fuel pump ,you can check this by terning on the ignition you should hear a huing sound from the tank , this may take two people ,or you kan put your hand on the top of the tank and feal for a vibration . if you dont hear or feal any thing then the search begins , fuse , relay ,wireing, pump hope this helps reed420

Picked up dirty fuel from the bottom of the fuel tank Remove fuel filter and blow back the fuel to the tank.The fit a new fuel filter and add fuel additive to tank then leave the car idle for Half hour.should be fine then

THE FUEL FILTER AND REGULATOR ARE BOTH LOCATED ON THE PUMP WHICH REQUIRE THE FUEL TANK TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. it sound like you have a bad sensor . that control's the air & gas mix . to you carb or injector's have them checked well .good luck

does your car run fine on the 5 gallons you stick in each time? if so I would say that your fuel pump is ok. I would take the tank out and see if there is some obstruction in the fill tube and tank orface, also look inside the tank for any floating debris, check and or replace the tank vent

1999 dodge intrepid has map,egr,ect,and tps low and sometimes
high voltage codes.Idles fine but when giving some throttle it dies

try putting fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank

possibly a bad fuel injector. sometimes when cars are ran completely out of gas, the pump will pull tiny particles out of the tank and will clog the injectors.
