I can help, the problem here is the blowermotor resistor, the resistor is very very common on these, this is what controls the speeds of the blower, if you look under the dash on the pass/side you will see the blowermotor, and the heaterbox, this box is what the blower sits in, the resistor is screwed in the side of the box next to blower, a good way to find it is too unplug connector to blower and follow it back this will lead you to resistor, heres a few diagrams to help you,i hope this is helpful.3.0 fan for heater and - 3881520.jpgbd1809d.gif

Ac fan want come on with compressor and blows

Check the fuse panel and make sure that the a/c fan fuse is good and is making a good clean connection. If that is not the issue, then I would then check the connections to the fan, and if that is not the issue, then you may have a faulty relay to the a/c fan.
I hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using fixya!

My beetle 2001 radiator fan no working and aircond also come out without cool air, engin overheating problem. i send to workshop and check wiring and fuse all in good condition. please give advise what...

Because there is no supply to the fan , it is not working. So you need to check the fan with a direct link to test , is working check the RELAY box for the fan relay, next check on the thermistor, the control circuit of the temperature controller to trigger the fan relay. Also check on the fuse to the relay unit.
The AC cooling must be checked only after this circuit is working as a hot engine will not give a good result. cehck the gas pressure, check the pumping pressure to confirm the compressor.
Also the eveporator, condenser, pressure switch must be checked independantly.

Heater fan don't work, don't know which fuse operates heater fan

Hi!!
Look in engine compartment close to battery for fuse box, remove cover and inside cover there is a diagram of fuse/relay locations.
You are looking for a fuse and relay, it should say blower fan or AC blower fan. First check fuse, if Fuse is ok. check Relay.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

I have 1996 Dodge caravan and the fan's come on and stay on

By chance are you saying the fans stay running when you turn off the engine, the problem is with the radiater fan relay, the points are probably sticking together, it's in the pdc box under the hood, power comes from fuse 4, 40 amp, through the relay, then to the fans, relay is controlled by the engine controller (pcm). just flip the cover and find the right relay, pull it out when they wont shut off, if it quits, swap it anouther relay from the pdc box, and test it again, fans come on at 212*F and shut off at 199-202*F. if the fans stay running while engine is running, you might have a coolant sensor issue, or cooling system issue. If you need more assistance, let me know. GOOD LUCK, RDJRP

AC fan won't run . No air coming out at all. Also heater won't run.

First check the fuse for the fan. If it makes a humming sound, check if the fan blades have jammed somewhere and being physically stopped, it creates a humming sound. Also check the insulation of fan armature to see if an of the coils have shorted out. Also dont forget to check the condenser/capacitor which initiates the rotation of the fan................sodeep

Check the temperature sensor on the engine as this is the primary sensor that initiates the fans coming on through the vehicle computer. Also check the relays, there are relays for the fans too.Good luck.
