SOURCE: Replacing brake lines

Many issues can come into play when trying to mount prebent lines. First off, they are connected in
many of the same brackets as other lines, (ie.: fuel lines) . And sometimes because of the length and shape of a prebent line, other things such as the muffler routing, fuel tank position, ABS lines,
strut mounting can all " get in the way" of a one piece replacement. And of course all those lines would need bled of air when complete which poses problems if old bleeder screws are bad as well.
My suggestion would be to save the money on a factory bent line , head to or have towed to a
reputable garage and ask if they can service the lines, the experienced techs have ways of freeing
up a frozen bleeder, working around the hazards in the way with aftermarket replacement
brake lines and all the necessary adapters for proper connection. I have many years in the field,
and I have to say, YOU DON'T GET A SECOND CHANCE WHEN IT COMES TO BRAKES
Let the pro's do their job and keep us all SAFE. You wouldn't call a gardener to wire your house.
Ha Ha Ha I applaud your eagerness to fix things, but this is one thing I would let go.
thnx GT GOOD LUCK

PS Tell them what you have to work with and the quality shops will do what they can to help you.
The money you would spend on Dealer parts shoud be easily enough to more than cover the aftermarket repair.

SOURCE: replace rusted brake lines for ford van F150 1998. How i bleed the brakes

There is a bleeder screw at each caliper/wheel cylinder. You looosen this screw (don't remove it) and have someone depress brake pedal and hold it down. Tighten bleeder screw, release brake pedal, and repeat until you get only fluid (no air) from the bleeder.

Catch the fluid in something to kep it off the ground. Make sure you keep the master cylinder reservoir full of fluid during this process or you'll get air back in the lines.

You may have to do this several times for each wheel.

SOURCE: 1997 Ford F150 Electric Fuel Pump will npt pump

Did you check the fuel inertia switch in the passenger side kick panel ?

The fuel pump is powered :
the fuse to the fuel pump relay.
The fuel pump relay to the fuel inertia switch
The fuel inertia switch to the fuel pump itself.

At the fuel inertia switch in the kick panel, power from the relay is the Dark Green w/ Yellow stripe wire and the pink w/ black stripe wire is the power. from the fuel inertia switch to the fuel pump.

If you jumper the fuel pump relay, you should hear it run. If not pull the fuel pump relay, and check the pins in the relay socket, pin 30 should be the power from the fuse.

If you have power at pin #30, jumper the relay socket as shown with the red line above, and check the dark green w/ yellow stripe wire at the fuel inertia switch for power.
Press the button on the top of the fuel inertia switch, and check for power leaving the fuel inertia switch on the pink w/ black stripe wire.

This is tests good, check for power at the fuel pump, same pink w/ black stripe wire.
Fuel inertia switch info is in the owners manual, If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

SOURCE: 1997 ford escort brake line diagram

The LF and RR are in an independent circuit of the RF, LR wheels. The master cylinder already has the lines hooked up in a way that if you trace the lines, you can make your own diagram.

1995 Ford Taurus rear brake line leaking possible break between the rear brakes. What would I need to replace on the brake line or could this just be something to tighten?

Most likely a rusted brake tube (Line)
You have to determine that
Got to buy tubing at auto parts store, and do your own fabricating and flaring.
Repair shops usually don't like that sort of work
Could just be a flex hose, then you buy and replace
