Were is the backup light switch located on a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7 Automatic transmission not a manual transmission, i going nuts

Traditionally, it is located on the transmission body. Metal clad with two pin or wires. it works like a pushbutton switch.
However, new cars do not have that anymore especially auto or CVT trannys. Instead the switch is incorporated in the "gear position switch" assembly. Some are located on the transmission, some are located and the gear lever. This switch also help to show the driver and the transmission control unit what position the gear lever is at.

Can I use a 1995 dodge ram 1500 starter in a 2002 dodge ram 1500

I guess the short answer is no.
It depends on the engine and trans, but the starter for a 1995 model 5.2 is different from a 2002 model with a 4.7 engine.

I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.2 l automatic. There is vacuum line sticking up behind the the engine with a vacuum brake hooked to it. where does that go

Not certain... just a thought... I believe Dodge uses vacuum solenoids to switch air flow from floor to vents and to defrost. Perhaps your loose line is from that solenoid. My '93 would go from defrost to floor when climbing a hill because of loss of vacuum. I hope this helps steer you to a solution.

I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 5.9 automatice 2 wheel drive and it dumps gas into the carb with a code 37 coming up. could the intake gasket cause this problem? i have replaced the coolant temp sensor, the...

code - 37 TCC brake switch circuit error. this is the torque converter clutch. Open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solenoid control circuit
  • For turbocharged engines , code 37 will be triggered when the baro-read solenoid circuit is open or shorted.
  • For normally aspirated (non turbo) engines with automatic transmissions, code 37 will be triggered when the Part Throttle Unlock (PTU) solenoid circuit is open or shorted.
  • For normally aspirated cars with manual transmissions, code 37 is sometimes set for no apparent reason.
This is detected when the ECU doesn’t sense near 0vdc or 12vdc at the relay when the solenoid is turned on or off. When code 37 is thrown the power limited light will not be lit and the system will not enter limp mode.
