Why does my car vibrate and noisy at red light and stop sign

I have kia rio 2002 The problem is vibration and noise when car `s staying at red light or stop sign
I am at a stop sign or stop light with the car in Drive (automatic trans), a loud vibration sound can be heard and also felt in the steering column and the brake pedal. As soon as I press on the gas pedal again, the vibration goes away. The only other way to reduce the noise is to place the car into Neutral.Spark plugs have been replaced one week ago ,engine mounts ok .Do you have any idea?

Check your motor mounts could be 1 or more broken. Should have 3 motor mounts.

My 2002 kia rio is kinda lowd and it vibrates when in park or at a stop sign

Sounds like it's misfiring. Possible causes are:
  1. Bad spark plug
  2. Bad spark plug wire
  3. Clogged fuel injector
  4. Exhaust leak
In most cases, a good tune up will fix your issue. It's best to rule out the exhaust system first. A leaking exhaust will lose compression and impact performance.

My 2002 kia rio is kinda load and vibrates when at a stop sign or in park

its because or engine rpm is below 800 when u remove your foot from the gas pedal, try adjusting your engine rpm to 800 or above to get a smoother idle speed

Leak in back and vibration

Welcome to FixYa.com
NVH is the hardest to prove. NVH stands for Noise Vibration And Harshness. If you have a leak in the back run water over car and lay News paper down in the leak area; this way you can see where the water is coming from. Vibration - well start with balancing the tires. And go from there to bearings and tire rim run out -which is the trueness of the rim

MY 2002 Kia Rio Cinco has a bad vibrating problem. My mechic thinks it could be in the exust system. How do I get this checked out

My 2002 Kia Rio Cinco has always had a vibration problem at 60 miles that stops at 70. We were advised to lower air in tires and keep them all equal. To make a long story short. My husband is a mechanic and could not stand this vibration. He set out to figure it out. The right drive axle is warped. Replaced it today and no vibration. It is hard to see, but with the tire off and up on floor jack you can see the wobble. I believe that this is a design flaw that was common to all Kia Rios. Or why would there be so many with the same vibration problem.

Why does my car vibrate and noisy at red light and stop sign

My rio kia bought on from uyi technical dealer in benin city, edo state of nigeria only 4 months ago is vibrating with noise while driving. The noise is noticed by other road users even in motion, making a very loud noise or sound that is highly embarrassing. The dealer mechanics have checked more than twice yet no result, instead the hub bearing is observed; tyres are turn over yet the noise persists.
