I have a 2001 Ford Focus 1.4 cl and the engine warning light has come on and the car just slowed right down. I've left it for 15mins and gone to start it up again and it turns over as if nothing is wrong with it but after leaving it for a few minutes running it sounds like an hoover. Help please.

The Electronic Brake Control Module is a little part but costs a lot of money. I don't know about the Longitudinal accelerometer sensor. I know other cars do have it.

this can be variety of things from air flow meter to oxygen sensor,oil level ok and rad level ok then its safe to drive to dealers and get it checked out.

yes there is a know problem with the fuel system. fuel pump breaks down, empty your fuel filter into a bowl and check for metalic, if you have this in the filter your pump is F..... along with all the other common rail stuff. expensive job... error codes though, i find that hard to believe, fuel pressure faults will occur, i think you garage does not know what to do. or does not want to tell you the cost of the job and he will be in doubt himself of wether he is right..... was you engine coil light flashing at any point.!!!

needs a vehicle speed sensor, its on the trans. if the engine was just put in( within like 2 or 3 days, not weeks) then it may have been busted in the engine swap. hope this helps and good luck
