When ordering fuel pump, need to know the vin letter w or z. one is for a carb and the other is for a injection or vortec engine. one puts out 11psi and the other puts out 60psi. is this an in tank fuel pump?

Try checking those sparks again. It could be a weak spark not enough to start your engine.
Make sure also that you have fresh gasoline, as gasoline or diesel looses it's effectiveness after a long time.
