There are no jeeps with a timing belt. Your 4.0 has a timing chain and it will last the life of the engine as long as you take care of the engine.

Confirm the longevity of the timing chain or confirm that it has a timing chain?
The only time I replace a chain is if I have a timing chain cover off to make a different repair. If the vehicle has high miles than it makes perfect sense to replace the timing chain at the same time since the only additional cost is the cost of the parts. I have never replaced or seen anybody replace a timing chain on a jeep in over 15 years. Generally it is an item that is seldom worried about.
You can check any online parts store and search for a timing belt or timing chain for your jeep. You will not find a listing for timing belt but you will find all kinds of timing chains.
Unless its making noise than there is nothing to worry about.
