I HAVE A 1990 MAZDA RX7 CONVERTIBLE. THE OTHER DAY IT WAS JUST WORKING, BUT NOW WHEN I GO TO START IT WONT START. ITS TURNING OVER BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE IT NOT GETTIN A SPARK. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BATTERY SO I TRIED TO JUMP IT MAKES THE SAME NOISE AS WHEN I DIDNT JUMP IT AND TRIED TO START IR UP. DO YOU ANY IDEA WHT THIS COULD BE?

Get somebody to check & clean your carb.
Sounds like idle setting.
As it's been sitting 5Y you could have other problems like corrosion which could foul the jets.
PS - you could also get carb-cleaner spray and squirt it in while revving engine.
No guarantee, but may help to clear any blockages or moisture.
i dont believe in the s5 rx7 there is a way to disable the MOP without getting an aftermarket ecu. Ill do some searching for your, but im 98% sure you cant.
it could be many things, no fire or no fuel, replaceing your spark plugs is most likely the leats expensive thing to do and if that doesnt work then there is most likley a problem with the fuel either too much or not enough. rx7s are notorious for flooding and it doesnt take much.
Do you have any enemies? Did someone contaminate the fuel? Also, was it parked near a field, or somewhere near where there may be mice or other rodents? Check for water in the fuel system, it happens this time of the year.
