What is the warning light that looks like a light bulb with a exclamation point in the middle of it mean?

That bulb is warning you of a potentially dangerous situation. Your manual will tell you what the light is for and then you check out that particular part of the car.

Take the car to an auto parts store and ask them to show you how to read the codes for your car when your warning light comes on. If they aren't too busy they will assist and tell you what you may need after reading the codes.

Its a warning to check brakes,pads have sensors to warn you early
Get all pads checked
Look in owners manual so you know what all warning lights are

Check the presure in your tires. Thats the warning light to tell you one of the tires are low.

If you mean a circle that looks sort of like a gear with an exclamation mark in the middle, it represents the Transaxle fault light.

That would be the low air pressure for your tires. I had no clue either at first till i read my manual.

Orange circle with a flashing exclamation point.

this usually indicates a gearbox fault. take it to a garage and they will plug a laptop into the vehicle and tell you what exactly the fault is.
