Sometimes it will start up fine and other times it loses spark completely and wont start. We had to have it towed home once because it wouldn't start then about 6 hours later it started up fine. Our mechanic plugged his diagnostic into it and it will not code. It says there is nothing wrong with it but we continue to have issues with it. We are thinking it may be some relay switch or something.

How are you diagnosing it looses spark ?
Could be an issue with the Fuel Pump relay or the PATS system

If you get a crank no start, turn the key to the off position. Make sure you can hear the fuel pump run ( in the fuel tank, by the fuel door on the box ) by rolling down the window. Turn the key from off to run and wait to hear the fuel pump cycle. At the same time the theft light in the cluster should go out. Do both of those happen correctly ?

Try swapping the Trailer Tow adapter Reverse relay with the fuel pump relay.
My '01 had cases of crank no start, which I attributed to not holding the speed pass away from the key correctly ( causing PATS to not be completed ) , and at ~ 34K miles the fuel pump relay went out.

My daughter has a 2000 dodge stratus and it quit on her and wouldn't start. She had it towed home and it started right off when she got there. Could this be a fuel pump issue or relay? Could the pump...

It could be the fuel pump. The relay could have gotten too hot and made the fuel pump quit until it cooled itself down. Also, the fuel pump could just be going bad. If thats the case, sometimes it will shut off, and back on. Hope this helps, James Booth. Please Rate this. :)

What a drag is is to have your vette come home on a wrecker!

It sound to me like a bad ignition switch and or connector to the switch.
