I need a diagram of the recircualtion valve for 190e

Go to the following link and the first photo shows the belt routing. I hope this helps as I know changing the belts on these vehicles can be a major pain in the neck.

DAYCO belts publishes a book on the internet of the diagrams free of charge. Parts stores that sell Dayco belts also have the book or diagrams.

poss ur idle air control valve is dirty or bad check thaty frist

If it wont turn over try the neutral safety switch, if it wont start in neutral either the switch most likely needs to be replaced.

There are 2 PDF documents to open - above the photo on the site.

The first - the Routing Guide - shows the reference for the belt diagram (1987 MERC 190E) which is 6-2 on page 92 of the Guide.
The second PDF shows the belt diagram for 6-2.

There could be 4, 5, or 6 pulleys on the 190E 2.6. Here they are.

This is for the 1990 190e 2.6. That's as new as my software goes. It may be the same, but I'm not absolutely sure.

I have a 93 MB 2.6 190E . went to junkyard, got same tranny, spent 500 bucks to replace. Drives fine. No metal shavings on mine either but changed tranny, ok.
