Where is the ecm in a jeep laredo 1994 located

The fuel pump relay switch on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0 four-wheel-drive is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) under the hood. It is labeled as "Fuel Pump Relay" and is the fourth relay from the left.

Why do you have to replace the PCM - Powertrain control module ? Do you know it will have to be programmed ? Dealer only . Your best bet , just take it to the dealer . All you'll do is it make more problems . But that's up to you if you want to pay more money .

I would assume that one hose is for either side. I would get a measurement of the old hose

Your ecm is going bad. If you haven't noticed yet, the vehicle will only start once the check engine light comes on, on the dash. That's the ecm finally sending power to the relays that feed the fuel pump and ignition systems. If you're mechanically and electrically handy you can remove the ecm, disassemble it and replace the three power capacitors inside. If not, just have the ecm checked and replaced.

Behind the timing chain cover, front of the engine. You need to remove everything in your way to get to it.

The computer is releasing to much gas into the chamber. It something you'll have to get the computer to re-learn, or update it at the dealership. Only someone/company with a Tech2 can do as it connects to your cars computer (ECM) and once in there you can select the option to watch/measure or less / plus the fuel consumption.

If it is a factory alarm you can't unhook it. Replace the switch attached to the lock cylinder inside the door. In the meantime, the switch on the passenger door may still be good. Cycle the key in the passenger door to see if it turns off the alarm.
