2006 SUZUKI FORENZA RECALLS/DEFECTS & PROBLEMS
Access the National Highway Traffic Safety database of 2006 SUZUKI FORENZA recalls and defects found on 2006 SUZUKI FORENZA automobiles. The National Highway Traffic Safety administration is authorized to order the 2006 SUZUKI FORENZA manufacturers to recall and repair vehicles or parts of motor vehicle equipment when its investigation indicates that they contain serious safety defects in their structure, or performance.
Check with your loacol suzuki for recall not sure on this part but it is a common problem

Then why would they sell the tps by itself?
FYI, I worked for a Suzuki dealer. The 2004 and 2005 Forenza/Reno has a separate, serviceable TPS. The 2006, 2007, 2008 does not. AND, to add to the confusion, if you only have the parts diagram, the throttle body reflected is the 2004, 2005 model. Only in the footnotes on the parts list does it state the TPS for the remaining years is not serviceable.

The TPS (throttle position sensor) for a 2006 Suzuki Forenza is not serviceable by itself. It is made onto the throttle body. Part # for the throttle body is 13400-85z21 and is about $450. The only other option is chancing a throttle body from a junk yard. However, you may run into the same issue.
