Your all over with this
I wish I could drive it
I own a 2004
Why was the MAF,not MAS changed?
I know the EGR Valve problems
I also know the idle and shift stratagy
Is it a V6 or V8
Give me some history on COP Coil issues
and other past problems
Do you work on it exclusively?
If repair shops have checked it ,I need all they did
in detail. Their no good with an LS and a dealer is lost
The idle won't go over 3000 rpm in park,it is a safety feature without getting technical
When you go into drive it should not increase in rpm
The throttle command comes from the pedal actuator (gas pedal),I will continue later on that
MAF Sensor shouldn't fail, was it tested and how?
How many coils went bad since 2003?
Was TPS checked out?
Has a dealer ever looked at it,looked might be a stretch, their not good at even looking
and can't fix these cars.
I will wait on some input from you
snorkel -- may be really good at giving you some ideas,
as he worked a ford hot line
Surely, won't like my distaste, for the past 47
years,as far as dealers and some repair shops go.
lincoln ls v6 2003. since i bought this car i have never change any coil no history of coil problem. usally take the car to the dealership but they charge alot.
about a year and a half the check engine light was on and the dealership found the code p0430 and p0443 and was repair by changing the bank 2 catalystic converter and repair short vref sensor and they was no more engine light and the car was runing good but they also recommed that i replace ignition coils 2, 3,5 but they was no light indicating this. i didnt change any coil but the car was running good from that time until recently
check engine light come again and the code on it was p1460 and p0108 and i replace the mass air flow sensor i.e the one near the air filter cabin and i also replace the egr valve and the light when off, so i dont have check engine light but the car still hesitate some time vibrate when am moving, ideling is rough but smooth sometimes but over the speed of 50mph it seem all is fine.
I think you should check the vacuum hoses to the PCV valve for disconnect or split/cracked/borken. I think one is disconnected.

WHEN DIAGNOSING DTC'S P0107 OR P0108 USE THE FOLLOWING: MAP VOLTAGE NECESSARY TO SET A P0107 MUST BE EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN 0.05V.
VOLTAGE NECESSARY TO SET A P0108 MUST BE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN 4.95V. 1. VERIFY MAP PID VALUES DURING KOEO ARE LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO
0.05V OR GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 4.95V. 2. IF THE MAP PID VALUES ARE OK, RE-FLASH PCM WITH THE LATEST CALIBRATION. 3. IF MAP PID VALUE IS
BELOW 0.05V OR GREATER THAN 4.95V, TURN KEY OFF AND DISCONNECT ESM CONNECTOR. VISUALLY INSPECT THEN RECONNECT CONNECTOR. REPEAT
STEP 1. 4. IF MAP PID VALUES ARE NOT WITHIN SPECIFICATION AFTER PERFORMING STEP 3, PROCEED WITH THE DIAGNOSTICS IN THE PC/ED MANUAL. THIS
