Toyota RAV 4. Computer management

Toyota RAV 4. Engine type 1AZ 4D....(Direct petrol injection). Computer management system was interfered with and all cables to computer unit were cut and original plugs stolen. We have found replacement plugs which marry the relevant sockets and now need to re-establish all wiring connections from engine sensors and controlled items. Colour codes do not respond. We will be able to carry out this work with a wiring diagram of the control unit and related units Anyone who can help, please do as being in Zambia, Africa, we are unable to pay on line for aanything at this piont within time. SOURCE: Re wiring

Thanks for your concern guy's. We did manage to fix the problem....It took us about four days of laborious work....We had to remove the harness covers and work our way backwards and forward, from the management computer, to and from the relevant 'sender unit' coolant temp, air temp, manifold pressure, lumda and oxogen sensor and from the controlled units, ie, ignition system, injection system, cooling fan set up and so on. We managed to identify the connections by following the identification labels printed onto the circuit boards.

We think that Toyota could make life a lot easier, if they used a standard wire colour coding and did not change that colour inside the loom....It is not un-common to see, as an example, a red with white tracer at one end and that may be joined to a blue with red tracer at the other end....If the loom cover is not removed and the cable inspected, you could not guess from what goes in, what will be coming out.

Hope this will be of help to someone somewhere.

Best regards

step on the gas pedal? IS A KEY TEST FOR ALL ENGINE,
BUT HOW FAR DID YOU PRESS "STEP IT" the pedal (depth)
100 % OR 5 % (ABOUT)
5% ADDS AIR AND HIDES A DEAD IAC SOLENOID.
100% is magical PCM secret UNFLOOD mode, test
it cuts fuel 100% you unfloods the engine of raw few and wet spark plugs.

most time causes are
IAC dead, clean it.
injectors leak.
FPR bad stuck closed and fuel pressure is 2 times spec.floods

My 1az Rav 4 engine leaks oil from the head gasket what could be the problem?

At the very least it indicates a bad head gasket that needs to be replaced. Once the cylinder head is removed then the actual cause of the gasket failure can be determined.

No pulse means computer is not getting something it wants. Do you have spark at plugs? Correct fuel pressure? Security system needs reset?
