HOW CAN I DEACTIVATE TRANSPORT MODE WITHOUT DRIVING 50 MILES ON A 2011 EDGE

I would test the hazard switch and replace if nessesary.

All the 2011 Ford Edges with 2 wheel drive have the 3.5 engine and the All wheel drive has the 3.7 engine.

The only way to correctly diagnose what is going on is to have a diagnostic scan done, sounds like the pcm has gone into 'limp home' mode which restricts power to prevent damage to the powertrain

tries to fill the tank and don't mount filler cap into gas tank. don't leave immediately the gas station but go after 5 minutes and see if the problem appear more than 2 miles.
deactivates the carbon filter before filling the tank completely
If the problem recurs with fuel cap without being mounted, IT IS NOT charcoal filter

hi can you have it scan for a dtc code to know what the problem is or you can buy a diy scanner to do it your self

I had the same problem after 5 months of purchasing a 2011 Edge. The Oil Engine Pressure light comes on and stays on after driving 10 minutes and stopping for gas- it turns off shortly after I start driving again. I had a 2007 Edge as well and never had this problem. I just took the 2011 Edge back to the dealer. They could not duplicate the problem and instead reset all computer settings. The next day the same Oil Engine Pressure light came back on. Anyone out there with any suggestions?

turn your vehicle on, press the brakes 3 times then turn on and off the hazards 2 times (on,off,on,off). it might take a few trys but that is how it is done

no longer than about 35-50 miles (higher the speed less the miles), and don't exceed 50 MPH
