Has the Central Locking button on the dashboard stopped working? Have you checked the fuse for the locking systems in the fuse box in the dashboard fuse panel. The panel is located in the LEFT foot well at about knee height when sitting. On LEFT hand drive cars it's behind a trim panel next to the driver's left knee. On RIGHT hand drive cars it's inside the glovebox behind a small trim panel.

the main fuse box is in engine bay on the passenger side and its right becides the battery and there is another small fuse box in the boot on the nearside in the quarter panel
