SOURCE: The front passenger side door lock responds slowly
Okay
I have and still have the same problem! one thing I did read was it's the lock itself inside the door, which if youdont get it sorted will be a pricey job. My drivers side door has now completly closed now and won't open (having to jump over other side to drive) Anyhow it can be done yourself but it's a fiddley job.

Hi:
You didn't mention the year of your vehicle, but often when the electric door lock solenoid fails, it becomes siezed in place, where it is un-moveable. This causes the condition that you are experiencing. One way to check to see if this is the cause, is to remove the drivers inside door panel and disconnect the door lock solenoid, and verify the manual key lock works ok.

It will be a bad microswitch in the mechanical lock driver's door and because of the microswitches do not get the impulse when other doors to unlock! Unfortunately, this microswitch is part of the lock and can be purchased separately! Only whole lock! ( Nr. 9. is it )

The pin that connects the key hub to the door lock mechanism broke. The only way to open that door from the outside is to have it picked - the lock lever will have to be pulled with a blade. Before that try to open the other door and enter thru there.
Once the door is opened the entire locking mechanism will have to be replaced.
