    you dont have enough coolant in the pressure tank/overflow bottle located on the right (passanger) side of the truck under the hood. Its right next to the washer bottle . its a whitish looking tank. you need to add coolant into it. its low. your truck design requiers the fluid level in that tank to be more than half way full when the truck is worm. if the fluid/coolant level is low in that pressure /overflow tank, you will loose heat at stops or while at idle. add some coolant so its little over half full while warm. start the truck cold and open the tank. let it warm up for about 15 minutes and than add some coolant into the tank. remeber the fluid level has to be pretty high inside of the tank to produce heat.even if you overefill some may leak out, but it will be ok.

I need parts for a 2007 Nissian Frontier. What other years are compatiable with a 2007?

Depending on the sub-model, 2005 - 2012 versions *can* fit. Look for yours in the list below:

  • Fit note: Crew Cab Pickup, Extended Cab Pickup
This product fits the following Nissan Frontier submodels
  • 2013-2013: Desert Runner; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2011-2013: S; 4 Cyl 2.5L;
  • 2011-2013: SL; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2011-2013: SV; 4 Cyl 2.5L;
  • 2011-2013: SV; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2009-2013: PRO-4X; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2011-2012: S; 6 Cyl 4.0L;

  • 2005-2010: LE; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2005-2010: SE; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
  • 2005-2010: XE; 4 Cyl 2.5L;
  • 2005-2008: Nismo Off-Road; 6 Cyl 4.0L;
When calling to inquire or order - tell them the year, make, model (S, SL, SV, LE, SE, XE, etc.) Cab type (crew, extended, etc.) before paying. Have a look at the link below.

Leak under dashboard

The only fluids under the dash are coolant that circulates through the heater core, or if you have a manual transmission a failed clutch master cylinder can leak brake fluid under the dash right where clutch pedal is located. If the heater core is leaking, it usually shows up on the passenger side. If it is just plain water, you need to check how rain water could be getting in past the firewall and under the dash.

2007 nissan frontier has the heater core stop working when truck comes to a stop

There are a couple of possibilities.
1. The heater core may be plugging up. Dirty coolant and lack of coolant services can contribute to this. Backflushing the heater more resolve the issue. If it does have the cooling system flushed to remove the rest of the contaminates from the cooling system.
2. The coolant level may be low. The heater core is usually the highest point in the cooling system. If the coolant where to get too low the heater core would starve for hot coolant at idle.

How to remove and replace cabin air filter 2007 se crew cab

If you haven't figured it out yet, try the two links below. They have pics and diagrams. I haven't done this yet but, Nissan suggesting to have it done. (Sitting in the dealer having oil changed as we speak. They want $90 to replace the 2 filters.) I'm planning on doing it myself to save about $70. Doesn't look too difficult - just a little time. Parts are about $22 at local parts store. hope this helps. (Won't be back on this forum. So won't see any response you submit back).
