Why do you want to remove it/change it??pretty bullet proof piece. havent seen one fail yet. what is your actual problem?? Clarify issue.
not remove it locate it to flush it out it stops working when the truck comes to a stop
you dont have enough coolant in the pressure tank/overflow bottle located on the right (passanger) side of the truck under the hood. Its right next to the washer bottle . its a whitish looking tank. you need to add coolant into it. its low. your truck design requiers the fluid level in that tank to be more than half way full when the truck is worm. if the fluid/coolant level is low in that pressure /overflow tank, you will loose heat at stops or while at idle. add some coolant so its little over half full while warm. start the truck cold and open the tank. let it warm up for about 15 minutes and than add some coolant into the tank. remeber the fluid level has to be pretty high inside of the tank to produce heat.even if you overefill some may leak out, but it will be ok.
Thanks Phil that worked perfect!
