My car is a Honda Civic 1.7 engine 2001 year. The question is: When I start the engine cold, 4 seconds after the check engine light comes, but if I keep the engine running for 1 minute and stop it and start again everything is OK, no lights of check engine even if I stop and the engine is still warm the light goes out.Opazno.

Check:
- Battery (Specific Gravity and cells test)
- Alternator.
- Starter.
- Battery to starter motor wire (thick white in color).
- Battery to alternator wire (thick white in color).
- ECM ground wires attached at engine.
- TDC sensor.
distributor module.... any recent tune-ups? e.g= cap,rotor,wires,plugs? parts are reasonably priced and labor should be around 1 hour... start there...
Check engine light usually means a problem with the emissions control system. At any rate Honda is your best bet. They will have to hook up and look for fault codes. Clicking sound could be a relay.

1) Turn they key to the II position 2) Turn the key to the off position, and push and hold in the odometer reset button 3) Turn they key back to the II position, while still holding the button. 4) After about 10-15 seconds, the light should go off.
well it could be many things first check fuses then there might be too much or not enough freon in system and also check vacume lines to heater controls hope this helps its a starting point
check on the engine around the thermostat housing for a fan control sensor. if your engine fan doesn't come on when the a/c is on, then thats your prob.
P1362 = TDC (top dead center) sensor (1) no pulse.
Reset your car's power control module (PCM or ECU) by turning off the key and pulling the clock/backup fuse for 10 seconds then reset. Start the engine and see if the code returns. If not, it was an intermittant fault and the system is okay--but check for dirty or loose wire connector at TDC1/TDC2 sensor. If the code returns, check wiring to the sensor---if the wiring checks out, replace the sensor.
