Our radar dectector was plugged into the front power outlet... we noticed it wasn't working and when we jiggled it the navigation system, radio and front outlets all went out. We've checked all the fuses and none of them are blown... any suggestions??
The solution is to buy a new mini fuse (Blue #15) at an autonation or similar. Open the passenger side kick plate fuse box and pull out the fuse in position #9 (upper most left fuse). You will need needle nose pliers or tweezers etc... Insert new fuse and you are done. 50 cent repair and 30 seconds spent screwing with it. Enjoy! Oh, and don't worry about blowing it again. Best I can say is when starting the car, unplug the power sucking device like a radar. Once car is on you can re-insert it the radar. The initial jolt of powering everything on all at once is what blew your fuse in the first place. Get a few additional fuses to have on hand just in case.
Thank you for posting this solution. I thought it was a fuse but the only one that is labeled radio in my manual is number 9 under the hood. NOTE: I inspected the fuse that you pointed out and it did not look blown. I had to use a OHM meter to determine the fuse was open.
Thank you a thousand times - Pops
Worked for me too.....thanks. Nice to know these posts keep helping people. It is strange how the radio and GPS are both on this and there is not documentation on the fuse that it is for either one. Just the one under the hood, strange.
excellent answer. however the fuse indicated that it works, but in reality it was blown. I found out after I took out the fuse. thanks though

We have a 2004 Acura. First the Nav system went out. Then the CD. I think it all has to do with the front electrical system.
