My headlight, the dims, is burned out. How do I change the light bulb, from inside the engine compartment or thru the outside dome?

The outside lights could possibly be dim because the bulbs are burning out. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is caused in most cases by a poor headlight ground to the body of the car, find and clean the ground, it is near the head light under the hood.

i don't have a real good answer, soooo just remove the dome light bulb so you can drive it

Probably need to replace your headlight switch, it could be another problem but that is where I would start. The headlight switch is 2 or 3 switches in one, it turns on your parking lights, it turns on your interior lights and dims them too. Either that or it's your bulbs but they say you will never burn both headlights out at the same time. If you have a test light or a volt meter you could check the voltage at the headlight, that would eliminate the switch.

When one side of headlights go out dim or high, it can send the extra power to the working headlight burning it out too. This usually happens if the headlight bulbs are both old. Try changing out both headlight bulbs first, as this is the easiest and cheapest fix.

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE HALOGEN BULBS YOU NEED TO WEAR CLEAN DRY GLOVES ON HANDS WHEN HANDLING HALOGEN BULBS.OIL FROM HANDS WILL CAUSE THEM TO BURN OUT.OKAY TO REPLACE HEAD LIGHT BULB.OPEN HOOD AND PULL UP THE RELEASE LEVER AT THE BACK OF THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING.THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING SLIDES IN AND OUT OF THE BODY IN TRACKS.PULL THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING FAR ENOUGH FORWARD TO DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS THEN SLIDE THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING AT THE WAY OUT.TO INSTALL THE HOUSING SLIDE IT BACK IN ALIGNING THE RIDGES ON EACH SIDE WITH THE TWO TRACKS IN THE BODY.WHEN THE HOUSING IS IN FAR ENOUGH REACH THROUGH FROM THE INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO REATTACH THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS.

odd speed blinker is a message to tell you that a light bulb has burned or is disconnected. All front lights can be replaced from the engine compartment EXCEPT the turn signal :( .Unfortunately you will have to pull the headlight assembly out in order to reach the turn signal bulb. If the light was off since the assembly was replaced, there is a chance that the socket was simply left unplugged.

You dont actually replace the headlight , just the bulb inside the headlight.. look inside the engine compartment at the back of the bulb , you just unplug the wire and either turn the bulb 1/4 turn to remove , or there will be a little spring clip.

more likely a fuse problem try to check the fuse boxes inside and on the engine compartment

They are changed from within the engine compartment... at the rear of the headlight bazels... if it's the side on the battery you may have to remove it.... also don't touch the bulbs with your fingers as that shortens the life of them.
