Have grinding noise in front drivers side on a 2006 dodge ram 1500 4.7 v8 seems louder while turning

This is for the v8, odd and even banks, driver side bank, front to back, 1 3 5 7
Passenger side bank, front to back, 2 4 6 8. Hope it helps.

Check your manifold bolts, the noise you hear is possibly a exhaust leak caused by a broken bolt.

If you have a v8 1,3,5,7 on drivers side front to back 2,4,6,8 passenger side front to back v6 same just don't have 7&8

Distributor turns clockwire rotation
From the front of motor

1 - 3 - 5 - 7 Drivers side front to rear
2 - 4 - 6 - 8 Passenger's side front to rear

check wheel bearings

Sounds like lifters are bleeding down. Try doing an oil change with a thicker oil or even go synthetic. I use Lucas oil additive and it seems to work pretty good.
