No vaccum hose diagrams at Auto Zone that I can find

  • Anonymous Dec 16, 2010

Sorry, guess the original part of my question didn't come through. The vaccum diagram I need is for the 4x4 system. Truck has new transfer case motor, transfer case vaccum switch, and vaccum actuator ( under battery), Suspect vaccum leak or bad hose somewhere. Can hear motor run and TCCM working, but front axle doesn't engage. Thanks for your help in advance.

Looking for vaccum hose routing diagram for 4x4 system on 2002 GMC Sonoma, 4.3, 5spd manual. Have replaced transfer case motor and vaccum switch, along with vaccum actuator under battery. Everything working as it should, but front axle does not engage. Suspect vaccum problem.

Just took a look at autozone and entered your vehicle info. Unfortunately the vacuum hose diagram is not there!! Is your Sonoma a 4.6L SFI?

put it in reverse and back up several feet. This should correct it, you may have to do it a couple of times.

Vacuum lines do not actually go into the transfer case, they go to the 4x4 actuator and there is a vent hose at the top...that is about it.

Truck heating system changes from heat, defrost, and vent

thats normal, you are taking vacume from the heater system when you are under a load, but it returns when you let back up on pedal,if you wanted to alter this affect you might try installing a vacume ball to the heater vacume hose,
